2025 SCG Term 1 - Assessment
This Exam is suitable for children currently in Year 5.
This is a 90 minute assessment including the instructions
Location : Swindon
Date: Saturday - 13th Dec 2025
Timings: 10:30am - 12:15pm
Registration: 10:30 - 10:45am
Venue: To be decided (Swindon)
Children will take one assessment paper,
English and Verbal Skills and Maths
English will include - Comprehension and SPaG
Verbal reasoning - All the skills
Maths - Four Operations and Angles
All of the questions are multiple choice. Children will mark their answer choice in a separate answer sheet, as per the format of the 11+ in Gloucestershire. They may write on the question paper and do any workings out.
The children will take their question papers home at the end of the session and hand in their answer sheets for marking.
A detailed report will be shared with rankings along with graph to show how your child has performed within the cohort. This is a great tool to see their strengths and areas that need more work on.
